A dining room set and waiting, still empty.

Occasion

First date plans.

A first date should be easy to enter and easy to leave. We plan one neighborhood, a walk with a reason, and a table that does not last all night.

Boats on a city canal in the early evening.

How we design it

Three hours, then a door.

First dates are single evening date plans, almost never a weekend excursion. The meeting point is public and simple to find. The reservation has an end. If the night is going well, you can stay; the plan does not require it. You get the notes. They get a person who seems to know the evening, not a spreadsheet.

  • One part of the city
  • A clear end time
  • Nothing that traps anyone for four hours

Meet

A public, simple place.

Easy to find. Easy to leave. Not a lobby you cross the city to reach.

Table

Held, and finished.

Near your zip code if the night stays home. The reservation has an end. Staying longer is a choice, not the plan.

Notes

You get the page. They get you.

The written plan is yours. They meet someone who seems to know the evening.
